Judi awards top sites of 2001

It's that time of year to review some of the sites I've applauded and panned over the past year.

My choices this year were not nearly as difficult as I expected. Each came to mind easily when I thought about each category.

My Site of The Year was a bit more difficult. For a while it was a tie between two e-commerce customer service solution sites. After consideration, though, one stood out above the others because of its unique services offered to online business. And that's what Judi's Web is all about ... online business and ways to improve its value to its customers.

"I'm impressed! The site is well-laid out, easy to follow, and the live chat with a Web Rep made a believer out of me. Collins took the time to answer my questions. If his Web Reps are as congenial and well informed, this innovative e-commerce solutions company is going places!"

Those were some of my comments on July 17 concerning this innovative business entrepreneur.

And in revisiting several potential sites of the year, Collins' WebSupportLive is still the most outstanding site I've viewed this year.

WebSupportLive is not only a good Web site, it offers a unique service to e-business.

Utilizing Collins' services is like having your own customer service representative at the beck and call of your potential buyers 24 hours a day all year long.

Companies that really want to improve their online business are signing up. It's a win-win situation online.

Next week, Collins will introduce his new Web site _ same address _ with even more advantages to his customers. Beginning Jan. 1, clients of WebSupportLive will no longer have to wait for reports regarding the use and success of their sites.

Collins has built in a secured log-in for each client to access all the data at any time. After a sneak preview of the site, I can assure you it's even better than the original. But that's not surprising considering the ideas that keep emerging from entrepreneur.

UPSIDE: Collins offers a unique service for e-business with a site that can show you its worth in a heartbeat or two. The new design is attractive, well-presented and easily navigated, with a full demonstration live chat for the doubting Thomas in the crowd.

DOWNSIDE: The only downside is for the potential client that doesn't view this site and take advantage of the services to increase its own business.
